The Absolut Elyx Premium Vodka is an extremely prestigious vodka, hand-distilled in a 1921 copper still by a few selected experts, according to principles of quality, integrity, and craftsmanship. It originates from the delicate winter wheat grown on a single estate in southern Sweden and the use of pure spring water. The result is a naturally smooth vodka, multi-award-winning, with an intense flavor, velvety and rich in character, so much so that it is nicknamed "liquid silk". Perfect to enjoy on ice or in a refined Martini, it elegantly accompanies oysters, sushi, and seafood dishes.

Absolut

Among the many spirits, Vodka certainly plays an important role, both for its historical roots and for its ability to establish itself today as a reference spirit in the main cocktail bars and clubs around the world. Vodka is mainly obtained through the distillation of grains, but it can also be made from potatoes, molasses, or other plants; its origins date back to around 1300, and its paternity has always been contested between Poland and Russia, two countries where traces of it can be found since time immemorial.
When talking about Vodka, one of the universally recognized brands, both by enthusiasts and casual drinkers, is undoubtedly Absolut, a distillery that originated in Ahus, a small medieval village located in Skåne County, Sweden. Sweden is indeed a nation that, while not traditionally linked to Vodka production, has managed to impose itself on the market in recent years, becoming a true reference point for this spirit. And it is Absolut that drives this rise, thanks also to the chosen production philosophy: every bottle is made solely and strictly from local products, starting from the hard wheat grown in fields not far from the distillery, to the water used in various processes, sourced from a local well owned by the distillery. In Ahus, twenty-two types of Vodka are produced, still following the traditional recipe introduced in 1879 by Lars Olsson Smith, which involved the use of continuous distillation.
Alongside the great classics and bottles flavored with fruit essences - "Raspberry," "Cedar," and "Grape" are simply phenomenal - perfect for mixing in the trendiest drinks, there are also more niche products, such as "100" and "Elyx," aimed at a true connoisseur audience.

THE VODKA

The Elyx Premium Vodka by Absolut is an extremely fine vodka, hand-distilled in a 1921 copper still by a few selected experts, according to principles of quality, integrity, and craftsmanship. It originates from delicate winter wheat grown on a single estate in southern Sweden and the use of pure spring water. The result is a naturally smooth, multi-award-winning vodka with an intense, velvety flavor and rich character, so much so that it is nicknamed “liquid silk”. Perfect to enjoy with ice or in a refined Martini, it elegantly accompanies oysters, sushi, and seafood dishes.
THE DISTILLERY

Among the many spirits, Vodka certainly plays an important role, both for its historical roots and for its ability to establish itself today as a reference spirit in the main cocktail bars and clubs around the world. Vodka is primarily obtained through the distillation of grains, but it can also be made from potatoes, molasses, or other plants; its origin dates back to around 1300, and its ownership has always been contested between Poland and Russia, two states where traces of it have been found since time immemorial. When it comes to Vodka, one of the universally recognized brands, both by great enthusiasts and occasional drinkers, is undoubtedly Absolut, a distillery that originated in Ahus, a small medieval village located in the county of Scania, Sweden. Sweden is indeed a nation that, although not traditionally linked to Vodka production, has managed to establish itself in the market in recent years, becoming a true point of reference for this spirit. And it is Absolut that drives this rise, thanks also to the chosen production philosophy: each bottle is born only and strictly from local products, starting from the hard wheat grown in the fields close to the distillery, to the water used in the various processes, obtained from a local proprietary well. There are as many as twenty-two types of Vodka produced in Ahus, still following the traditional recipe introduced in 1879 by Lars Olsson Smith, which involved the use of continuous distillation. Alongside the great classics and bottles flavored with fruit essences - “Raspberry,” “Citron,” and “Grape” are simply phenomenal - perfect for being mixed in the trendiest drinks, you can also find more niche products, like “100” and “Elyx,” intended for a true connoisseur audience.
