Ron de Cuba 'Gran Reserva' Añejo 15 Years by Havana Club acquires its complexity of flavor through a maturation process of at least 15 years. Only 58 barrels of Havana Club Añejo 15 Years are produced each year, resulting from a strict selection process, blending, and multiple aging in oak barrels. Some parts of HC15 have been aged for several decades, and the significant evaporation caused by the tropical climate (the "Angel's share") helps concentrate the flavors and create that fullness of taste that fully satisfies the connoisseur. The Añejo 15 Years showcases the most spectacular elements of Cuban rum: an extraordinarily long and quality aging that produces a pleasant smoothness in the mouth, a full tannic taste, and a strong fruity aroma.

Havana Club

In the heart of Old Havana, in the historic Plaza de la Catedral, the Havana Club Bar was founded in 1935, one of the symbolic places of Cuban tradition. Here, bartenders began using a rum that would become legendary: Havana Club. Initially produced by the renowned Arechabala rum company in Cárdenas, this excellent distilled spirit embodies the authentic spirit of Cuba.
After the 1959 revolution, the company was nationalized by the Cuban government, but the production of Havana Club continued, becoming a flagbearer of national heritage. Over the following decades, the brand made its way into the Eastern European markets, thanks to the island's political ties with socialist countries. The major international breakthrough came in 1993 when the Cuban government signed a joint venture with the French multinational Pernod Ricard. This marked the new era of Havana Club, transforming it from a local rum into a global phenomenon.
Today, Havana Club is the best-selling golden rum in Europe and is one of the most appreciated brands worldwide for its quality, versatility, and strong connection to Cuban culture. Used by top bartenders in iconic cocktails like Mojito, Daiquiri, and Cuba Libre, it has become an indispensable ingredient in the trendiest venues, as well as a perfect companion for those who love to enjoy it neat or on the rocks.
On Vino45, the platform dedicated to wine and premium spirits enthusiasts, you can find the best selections of Havana Club, from classic aged varieties to more structured blends. An opportunity to bring home a piece of Cuban history, with all the quality and service assurance that always distinguishes Vino45.

CUBAN MASTERY

The guardians of an ancient tradition passed down from generation to generation and respected as part of the island's cultural heritage, the Maestros del Ron Cubano are the reason why our fine rums are unmatched in the world. Aged and blended, together and individually, our best reserve rums make up the prestigious Icónica Collection. Each bottle represents the mastery and passion of the Maestros del Ron Cubano of yesterday and today.
THE DISTILLERY

In 1935, the Havana Club Bar opens in the Cathedral Square in Havana. In that bar, the bartenders use a rum of the same name, Havana Club. A brand owned by the large rum company Arechabala, which produces it in the city of Càrdenas. After the Castro revolution in 1959, Arechabala, like other Cuban businesses, is nationalized but continues production. In the following decades, Havana Club is exported to the then Soviet Union and other Socialist countries in Eastern Europe, which were then close allies of the Cuban government. In 1993, after the collapse of the USSR, the Cuban government strikes a deal with the French multinational Pernod Ricard to relaunch the production of Havana Club and distribute it worldwide. It is a highly successful brand, particularly in Europe: today Havana Club is the best-selling golden rum in Europe.
