The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG “Vigna Marrucheto” 2020 Castello Banfi comes from three selected parcels of the Marrucheto vineyard, one of the estate’s most prestigious sites. Made from 100% Sangiovese, it expresses an elegant and refined style, enhanced by the 2020 vintage, marked by balance and optimal ripeness. Careful vinificationand extended aging in oak and bottle confer depth and harmony. On the nose it shows great sensory complexity with ripe red plum and white peach, delicate spices and balsamic hints. The palate is full-bodied, vibrant and taut, with soft, finely polished tannins and a long, balanced, persistent finish. Ideal with complex, aromatic and structured dishes, it is also perfect as a meditation wine.
