The winery, designed by architect Renzo Piano, is a masterpiece of functional design and scenic beauty: pure lines, essential geometries, a harmony that dialogues with the surrounding hills. Beneath the surface, the spectacular underground barrel room opens like a true cathedral, a silent guardian of wines resting in the dark, waiting to tell their stories.
In the 90 hectares of vineyards, native and international varieties coexist: Sangioveto, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Shiraz. From this richness, iconic labels are born. Rocca di Frassinello, the signature wine, combines structure, finesse, and longevity. Le Sughere di Frassinello represents balance and everyday pleasure, while Baffonero, pure Merlot, is considered one of the most intense and prestigious reds in the entire Maremma. Completing the range is Poggio alla Guardia, immediate and fresh, perfect as an introduction to the estate's style.
