Barbaresco DOCG 2022 (750 ml.) Massolino

The Barbaresco by Massolino is an elegant interpretation of one of the great Piedmontese wines, produced with only Nebbiolo grapes grown in the prestigious crus of Barbaresco. The vinification follows traditional methods: fermentation in steel with long maceration on the skins and subsequent aging in large oak barrels to refine structure and complexity. The result is a wine of great finesse, with aromas of wilted rose, cherry, sweet spices, and licorice. On the palate, it is balanced, fresh, with elegant tannins, and has a persistent and mineral finish. Perfect paired with red meats, game, and aged cheeses, it represents an excellent expression of the 2022 vintage, fresh and harmonious. Massolino, a historic winery from Serralunga d'Alba, guarantees quality and fidelity to the terroir even in this label outside the borders of Barolo.

Massolino

In the picturesque setting of Serralunga d'Alba, the beating heart of the wine region of Piedmont, the winery Massolino stands as a bastion of classic Barolo. Founded in 1896, this winery has built its reputation on an uncompromising dedication to tradition and excellence. In a territory where the morning fog gently caresses the vine rows, Massolino lovingly and rigorously cultivates the indigenous varieties of Nebbiolo and Dolcetto, respecting the natural rhythm of the seasons and the vocation of the terroir.

The Barolo Margheria is the jewel of the production, a wine that embodies the austerity and longevity typical of Serralunga. With its deep and complex character, this Barolo enchants with its aromas of rose petals, ripe cherries, and earthy notes, which evolve into tones of sweet spices and cocoa over the years. Each sip tells a story of patience and craftsmanship, reflecting the very essence of this generous land.

Let yourself be seduced by the wines of Massolino available on Vino45: an invitation to discover the authentic spirit of Barolo from Serralunga, where tradition and passion merge into an unparalleled wine experience.
