The 'Petruccino' from Podere Forte was born as the little brother of the great Petrucci, but comes from younger vines. A wine from the Val d'Orcia with beautiful fruit, it surprises with its vigorous structure, just two years after the harvest. Thanks to the intensive work dedicated to soil improvement, Petruccino has indeed become a true 'Premier Cru', an inspired expression of the excellent lands of Podere. It is produced solely with Sangiovese grapes and expresses pleasant aromas and flavors of red fruits, spicy notes of cardamom and pepper, followed by aromatic herbs. It has a pleasant acidity, with dense and silky tannins, and presents a mineral finish.

Podere Forte

In the heart of Tuscany, where the hills of the Val d'Orcia merge into a landscape that seems straight out of a Renaissance painting, stands Podere Forte. This winery is the result of the vision of Pasquale Forte, an entrepreneur who has transformed his passion for wine into a project of excellence. Here, among the sinuous lines of the vineyards and the sweetness of the land, a concept of winemaking comes to life that embraces luxury and innovation, while remaining deeply respectful of nature.
Podere Forte is located in one of the most picturesque regions of Tuscany, where the climate and soil provide unique characteristics to the grape varieties. The DOC Orcia and IGT Toscana denominations are the stage on which the main protagonists of this winery perform: the Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, and Merlot, varieties that find their ideal habitat here. The production philosophy of Podere Forte is based on regenerative agriculture, an approach that aims to improve soil health and preserve the natural ecosystem, while ensuring uncompromising quality.
Under the expert guidance of Pasquale Forte, the winery has produced wines of rare elegance and complexity, capable of enchanting even the most demanding palates. Among the main labels are Guardiavigna and Petrucci. Guardiavigna is a wine that expresses strength and harmony, with its intense aromas and decisive taste, while Petrucci fascinates with its lively personality and hints of red fruit and spices. Each bottle is the result of meticulous attention to detail, from the vineyard to the cellar, to offer a tasting experience that tells the story and passion of Podere Forte.
Let yourself be seduced by the wines of Podere Forte, available on Vino45. Discover a collection that encapsulates the essence of Tuscany, a journey through luxury, nature, and the art of winemaking at its finest.

THE WINE
The 'Petruccino' from Podere Forte is born as the little brother of Petrucci the great, but comes from younger vines. A wine from the Val d'Orcia with beautiful fruit, it surprises with its vigorous structure, just two years after the harvest. Thanks to the intense work dedicated to improving the soils, in fact, Petruccino has become a true 'Premier Cru', an inspired expression of the excellent lands of the Podere. It is produced with only Sangiovese grapes and expresses pleasant aromas and flavors of red fruits, spicy notes of cardamom and pepper, followed by aromatic herbs. Equipped with a pleasant acidity, with dense and silky tannins, it presents a mineral finish.
THE COMPANY

The philosophy followed and applied by Pasquale Forte is based on the anthroposophical teachings of Rudolf Steiner, founded on universal principles such as correctness and respect. Biodynamic agriculture is a way of being, observing, and working the land. The goal is not to let the land do its own thing, but to help it. The three principles of biodynamics are: maintaining soil fertility; keeping plants healthy so they can resist diseases and pests; producing quality food for human health. Since 1997, Podere Forte has embraced these simple yet decisive rules. Ancient and modern. Traditional and forward-looking. Governed by a perfect and self-sufficient ecosystem capable not only of conserving the existing but also of improving it. A Podere that pursues perfection and quality while fully respecting the environment. The scientific and meticulous analysis of the soils, animal husbandry, self-production of compost, the architectural integration of the winery, and the use of the most advanced technologies, all in full respect of the environment.
