The Barolo 'Riserva' 2015 by Vietti is the result of a selection from specific small parcels located in various crus of the municipality of Castiglione Falletto. Vines aged between 25 and 45 years, chosen for their intensity, elegance, and excellent tannic structure, provide a great potential for aging. The wine has been aged for 30 months in large oak barrels. Following this, all the parcel selections were carefully blended before bottling. The bouquet has a very complex aromatic expression with notes of truffle and underbrush, along with red and black fruits and balsamic hints. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, rich, and powerful. The tannins are well integrated into the fruity structure of the wine. Balanced. Long and persistent aftertaste. Only 5,000 bottles were produced.

THE VINEYARDS
From 35 hectares of vineyards, alongside the classic Dolcetto and Barbera "TreVigne" (a term indicating that the wine is made from grapes coming from more than one single vineyard), Arneis and Moscato d'Asti Cascinetta are produced, the "crus."
