The Valpolicella Classico Superiore 'Casalvegri' by Ca' La Bionda is born from the desire of the Ca’ La Bionda winery to create a great product within Valpolicella. It originates from a blend of native grape varieties of the area, Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara. The vines of these varieties grow, in organic farming, in the most historic area of Valpolicella at an altitude between 150 and 300 meters above sea level, characterized by a calcareous and clayey subsoil. Spontaneous fermentation in steel and aging for 18 months in oak barrels. A bottle with varied aromas, where the sip is full and satisfying, never intrusive or cloying. Good body, broad and enveloping, pleasant tannic structure, and refreshing finish.

Ca' la Bionda

In the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, one of the most enchanting regions of Veneto, lies the winery Ca' la Bionda. Here, among hills that seem painted and vineyards that breathe history with every sip, the Castellani family has intertwined their life with that of the land, keeping alive a tradition that dates back in time. Founded in 1902, Ca' la Bionda is a winery that has managed to safeguard the secrets of the past while embracing a biological and environmentally respectful vision.
The vineyards of Ca' la Bionda thrive on rich and varied soils, where the Corvina and Rondinella grapes find their ideal habitat. Here, nature reigns supreme, and respect for it translates into organic farming practices that enhance the quality and authenticity of the fruits. The production approach is traditional, but not outdated; it is rather a journey towards the essence of wine, a return to the soul of Valpolicella.
The jewel of Ca' la Bionda is undoubtedly the Amarone Classico, a wine that embodies the elegance and complexity of the region. It is a nectar that tells stories of passion and dedication, with notes of ripe fruit, spices, and a touch of dark chocolate that delights the senses and warms the soul. Each sip is a tribute to time and patience, care and craftsmanship.
