Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC 'Roccheri' 2019 (750 ml.) Marchesi di Barolo

Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC Roccheri 2019 is a refined expression crafted by Marchesi di Barolo, produced from Nebbiolo grape varieties grown on the hills of the Langhe. The vineyards are located on calcareous-clay soils of medium texture, rich in trace elements that enhance the wine’s structure, while the presence of quartz sands and silt helps shape fragrant and fruity aromas. The 2019 vintage, balanced and of high quality, allowed for full grape ripening. Traditional vinification is followed by ageing for several months in oak casks, completing its evolution and broadening the aromatic profile. The bouquet reveals elegant sensory characteristics of cherry, rose, delicate spices and mineral notes. On the palate it is harmonious and full-bodied, with fine tannins and a persistent finish.

Marchesi di Barolo

In the heart of the picturesque hilly landscape of the Langhe, where the morning fog envelops the rows in a silent embrace, stands the prestigious winery Marchesi di Barolo. With roots dating back to 1807, this historic winery is a pillar of the Piedmontese wine tradition, a silent witness to the transformation of Barolo into one of the most celebrated wines in the world.

Located in the namesake village of Barolo, Marchesi di Barolo skillfully cultivates the Nebbiolo grape, the beating heart of its most iconic labels. Here, the land intertwines with history, giving life to wines that are the result of a perfect balance between tradition and innovation. The winery has managed to combine ancient wisdom with modern winemaking techniques, maintaining a deep respect for the land and its peculiarities.

Among the gems of production stand out Cannubi and Sarmassa, two Barolo wines that embody the very essence of these lands. Cannubi, with its velvety tones and complexity that slowly unfolds, tells of sunlit hills and breezes that caress the vineyards. Sarmassa, on the other hand, surprises with its bold structure and intense aromas, a dance of scents that evokes the richness of the land from which it comes.

Every sip of a Marchesi di Barolo wine is an invitation to immerse yourself in the Piedmontese wine culture, a journey through the history and traditions of a unique territory.
