The Blanc de Blancs Brut by Perrot-Batteux embodies the style of the Maison: a decidedly fresh, pure, and elegant wine. A cuvée of pure Chardonnay from Premier Cru vineyards, which, thanks to the addition of reserve wines (aged 2 to 3 years) and ideal aging in the cellar for 3 to 4 years, creates a balanced and fresh Champagne, with a naturally low dosage. After disgorgement, it is allowed to rest for a few weeks. This wine, with its lively and sustained sparkle, surprises with the delicacy of its mineral and floral aromas. On the palate, the attack is fresh and persistent, with notes of citrus and a finish of biscuit and bread crust. Perfect for aperitifs and with delicate dishes like seafood and grilled fish.

THE MAISON

The story begins in 1985, when Maryline and Gervais Perrot purchase the press from Jean Raulet, a winemaker in Bergères-les-Vertus. At the helm of a processing and vineyard exploitation company, they decide in 1986 to market their harvest, and thus Champagne G. Perrot-Batteux is born. While Gervais manages his service business and nurtures the wines, Maryline works the vineyards and handles the marketing of the Champagne. Over the years, sales increased. But in 1999, the economic context favored the sale of the harvest by the kilo, and to the great regret of its customers, Champagne G. Perrot-Batteux ceased its activities. From that moment on, Maryline and Gervais Perrot-Batteux focused on enhancing their vineyard in the hope of being able to market it again. A decade to be reborn better. With this phrase, almost a symbol, as in 2009, Champagne G. Perrot-Batteux was reborn under the brand Champagne Perrot-Batteux & Filles.
