The Gavi of the Municipality of Gavi 'Rovereto' by Michele Chiarlo was produced for the first time with the vintage of 1996. It comes from grapes of Cortese grown and harvested in the homonymous hamlet of the municipality of Gavi, where a part of the grapes once collected, carry out the cryomaceration. Proceed with pressing and fermentation in steel containers. Still in steel, the wine then refines for 5 months on the lees. It is a white with a light, crunchy body, with a large sip that moves on a savory and fresh progression, ideal with fish and shellfish cooking.
Gavi dei Gavi Riserva 'D'Antan' by La Scolca is obtained with a selection of the best cuve, initially destined for the production of Gavi Black Label and only in great vintages. After an aging that can last up to 10 years, only in steel tanks and on indigenous yeasts, it reaches the bottle with that unmistakable intensity and nobility of sensations that only time gives to Great Wines. Rare and unique wine, to be tasted meditating on the extraordinary taste sensations: the bouquet that evokes the sea breeze, the minerality of the earth, but also exotic fruits and honey. Only the experience of almost a century of production can give this harmony, where power and finesse come together in a splendid balance, bringing us back to nature and the sensations of Antan.
Gavi 'Monterotondo' by Villa Sparina is one of the winery's flagship labels, the highest expression of Gavi, made in a limited number of bottles only and exclusively with the best grapes from the old vines of the homonymous cru. The Monterotondo parcel has always been known for the production of superior quality grapes. It is an elegant and refined Cortese, with a long aging potential, aged for at least 2 years in steel and wood in the historic cellars. Seductive bouquet with its aromas of albiocca, acacia flowers, hints of spices and a typical chalky tone. On the palate it is balanced, harmonious and complex, imbued with freshness and minerality, fading into aromatic references. It is a glass that perfectly interprets the Gavi terroir.
