The 'Lasanta' by Glenmorangie is an elegant and full-bodied Scotch whisky produced in the Highlands that is aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels and is matured for another two years in ex-Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. The word 'Lasanta' in Gaelic means warmth and passion, not only in remembrance of the Spanish origin of the Oloroso sherry casks but also for this expression with a soft and deep texture, and its sweet and seductive aroma. Non-chill filtered to preserve its aromas and flavors. Full-bodied and sweet, with notes of sherry, raisins, caramel, and hints of nuts and orange slices. Long and slightly dry finish with notes of spiced orange and chocolate.

THE WHISKY
The 'Lasanta' by Glenmorangie is an elegant and full-bodied scotch whisky produced in the Highlands, aged for 10 years in former bourbon white oak barrels, and then matured for another two years in ex-Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. The word 'Lasanta' in Gaelic means warmth and passion, not only as a reminder of the Spanish origin of the Oloroso sherry casks, but also for this expression with a soft and deep consistency, and its sweet and seductive aroma. Cold-filtered whisky to preserve its aromas and flavors. Full-bodied and sweet, with notes of sherry, raisins, caramel, and hints of nuts and orange segments. Long and slightly dry finish with notes of spiced orange and chocolate.
THE DISTILLERY

In 1843, an ex-brewery was converted into a distillery by William Matheson, marking the birth of the Glenmorangie Distillery. Located in the North Highlands region, in the northern part of Scotland that stretches towards the North Sea, Glenmorangie has faced numerous challenges over the years. Currently, with 16 employees, a number that has been superstitiously maintained unchanged for 150 years, Glenmorangie, which is not coincidentally called the “distillery of 16 men,” continues to produce prestigious and high-quality whisky. Utilizing pot stills over five meters tall, pure distillates are created, which are aged in special barrels previously used for Sauternes, Sherry, Pedro Ximenez, SuperTuscan, and Port. Exceptional whiskies, renowned and unanimously appreciated by the most discerning enthusiasts of the category.
