THE WINE
Trento Riserva Brut "Perlé Bianco" 2016 Ferrari is born from the best crus of Chardonnay cultivated at altitude, over 500 meters, on the mountain slopes of Trentino. The winemaking process follows the Metodo Classico, with an extraordinary aging on the lees of at least 8 years, followed by further bottle aging to enhance elegance and complexity. The perlage is dense and persistent, the bouquet refined with white flowers, Granny Smith apples, citrus notes, exotic spicy hints, and dried fruit. On the palate, it is distinguished by magnificent minerality, harmonious structure, and a long finish, enriched by traces of flint and an infinite savory persistence. Perfect with seafood, shellfish, seafood risottos, or soft cheeses. A tonic, harmonious, and persistent sparkling wine, emblem of Trentodoc excellence.
THE COMPANY

A winery that needs no introduction, whose myth was born thanks to the intuition of a man, Giulio Ferrari, and the dream of creating a wine in Trentino capable of competing with the best French Champagnes. A true pioneer, he was the first to recognize the extraordinary vocation of his land, the first to spread Chardonnay in Italy. This is how he began to produce a few highly selected bottles with an obsessive cult for quality. Wines that immediately captured the hearts of the most demanding enthusiasts who had never found such elegant, fine, and surprising sparkling wines in Italy. However, having no children, Giulio Ferrari sought a successor to entrust his dream. Among the many candidates, he chose Bruno Lunelli, owner of a famous wine shop in Trento. Thanks to his passion and entrepreneurial talent, Bruno quickly managed to increase production in the early 1950s without ever compromising on quality, following the same path laid out by the founder. The tradition continues, and Bruno Lunelli passes on the passion to his children: under the guidance of Franco, Gino, and Mauro, Ferrari becomes a leader in Italy and the quintessential Italian toast. During these years, some of the labels destined to enter history are born: they are the Ferrari Rosé, the Ferrari Perlé, and the Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore. Today, over a hundred years later, Ferrari is synonymous with the best Italian sparkling wines. Unique wines, true anthems to the greatness of an unparalleled winery and a territory, that of Trento, which has proven to offer some of the best bubbles in the world.
