The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut by Nino Franco is made from Glera grapes grown on the steep hillsides of Valdobbiadene, where the cool microclimate and optimal exposure ensure freshness and aromatic finesse. After gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, it undergoes secondary fermentation in autoclave using the Charmat method, preserving fragrance and vibrancy. On the nose, it offers aromas of green apple, pear, white flowers and citrus, with a delicate mineral touch. The palate is lively, dry and harmonious, with fine, persistent bubbles. THE WINE

THE COMPANY

Nino Franco winery was born in Valdobbiadene, a small town in the Treviso area protected by the rolling Venetian hills, designed by the numerous vineyards of glera grapes, traditionally called prosecco. A story made up of three generations of winemakers linked by a deep passion for the vineyard and its fruits, but also characterized by the same enormous desire to continuously experiment and create refined products.
Typicality and excellence: these are the elements that have always characterized the Nino Franco winery, which today has become a promoter and supporter of the potential of Prosecco and its territory, the latter rightly candidate for inclusion in the Unesco World Heritage Site. The vineyards are almost all in the heart of the Valdobbiadene territory, with the exception of some plots located in the Cartizze area, a precious hill - a cru, as the French would say - from which an excellent Prosecco is born. Between the rows, the plants are raised in full respect of the environment and ecosystem, in order to harvest grapes that are pure, fragrant and aromatic, as only those of glera can be. Bunches rich in varietal and primary scents, arrive in the cellar to be processed and interpreted while always keeping a fundamental objective fixed: to enhance the fruity freshness and accentuate all those single nuances deriving from varietal and terroir.
The method used to make the grapes sparkling, of course, is the one called Charmat-Martinotti, which, compared to the Classic Method, tends to emphasize the immediacy and fragrance of the fruit, a typical characteristic of younger bubbles, such as Prosecco itself.
With over a million bottles baked annually, the Nino Franco winery is a company that comes to offer different products, each with its own character and personality. From Brut Superiore to Dry, from Cartizze to Valdobbiadene, passing through "Rustico" and Rosé "Faìve", they are all Prosecco, those labeled "Nino Franco", which embody the best essence of the most famous Italian bubbles in the world.
