Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG 'Tenuta Greppo' 2010 (750 ml.) Biondi Santi

The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG Tenuta Greppo 2010 by Biondi Santi is an icon of winemaking tradition. Made exclusively from a strict selection of Sangiovese Grosso from estate vineyards, including the oldest, it is aged for 3 years in Slavonian oak casks. An extraordinary vintage, it combines structure and grace, tension and fragrance, with aromas of dark cherries, dried violets, Mediterranean scrub, leather, menthol, and flint. On the palate, lively young tannins, vibrant freshness, and a persistent finish with dried herbs and savory, almost iodized notes. A wine of rare elegance, perfect with game, roasts, and aged cheeses, and able to evolve for 20–40 years.
