Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 'Archivio Storico' 2010 (750 ml. deluxe box) Bertani

The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a timeless wine, an expression of a unique style that Bertani has always followed with dedication. It is made from Corvina and Rondinella grapes on the hills of Tenuta Novare, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, in vineyards dedicated exclusively to the grapes used for drying. Produced since 1958, it is one of the longest-lived red wines in the world. The 2010 vintage is a special year where elegance prevails over power. An Amarone with an austere style, featuring still vibrant tannins that will show its best after a few years of aging in the bottle. The nose highlights typical notes of marasca, bitter, cinchona, and rhubarb. It pleasantly caresses the palate with tannins that are integrating well.
