Villa Spinosa

In the picturesque setting of Valpolicella Classica, where vineyards gracefully climb the hills, lies Villa Spinosa, a winery that embodies the elegance and tradition of this ancient Veneto territory. Every corner of this region tells stories of centuries-old viticulture, and Villa Spinosa is one of its most authentic voices, with its dedication to producing wines that are a pure expression of the hilly terroir.
The winery stands out for producing one of the most prestigious wines in Italy: Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG. This rich and complex wine is born from a skillful blend of indigenous grapes such as Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara. These varieties, cultivated with care and passion in the vineyards of Villa Spinosa, give rise to wines that captivate with their structure and aromatic depth. The Amarone Classico is the crown jewel of the production, a wine that envelops the senses with its notes of ripe fruit, spices, and a persistence that invites reflection.
The production philosophy of Villa Spinosa is firmly rooted in tradition, but with a keen eye on quality and innovation. Every phase of production is meticulously followed, from the careful selection of grapes to aging in the cellar, to ensure that each bottle encapsulates the essence of the territory and the artisanal work that characterizes it.

THE WINE
The Amarone Valpolicella Classico 'Albasini' by Villa Spinosa is the most important wine of the family: magic in the bottle, harmony for the heart and mind. A synthesis of elegance, balance, and roundness, with the right power, a result of grapes, history, passion, time, and dedication, an expression of the territory, it is the ambassador of Valpolicella and the most precious fruit of this land.
THE COMPANY
Villa Spinosa was founded in 1990 in Negrar, in the province of Verona, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico denomination. An area traditionally dominated by the cultivation of vines and olive trees, which finds in Amarone della Valpolicella one of the most significant and important wines of Veneto and Italy. Enrico Cascella Spinosa, the current owner, with great passion and determination has restored the rural environments of the estate, transforming them into modern and efficient production spaces. The buildings that were once part of the workers' housing, dating back to around 1700, have also been renovated and converted into welcoming agritourism reception areas, with a vision of hospitality at 360°. The owned vineyards extend over about 20 hectares and are cultivated with the classic varieties of the area, corvina, corvinone, and rondinella, in the municipalities of Negrar in Valpolicella and Marano di Valpolicella.
