Bobby’s Schiedam Dry Gin offers the pleasure of returning to the origins of this historic spirit, presenting a label of great elegance and aromatic complexity. Born in the Dutch city of Schiedam, near Rotterdam, it combines the tradition of Genever with an exotic touch from Indonesia. The botanicals – including juniper, rosehip, fennel, lemongrass, ginger, cloves, and Java pepper – are infused and distilled separately to ensure maximum purity of aromas. The result is a dry, floral, and spicy Gin with a harmonious and persistent taste, featuring citrus and oriental spice notes that evolve into a fresh, balsamic finish. THE COMPANY

Bobby’s Schiedam Dry Gin is born in the heart of Schiedam, among windmills and canals that tell the Dutch distilling tradition. Bobby’s Distillery is the result of Sebastiaan Alfons’s vision, who revived the recipe of his great-grandfather Jacobus “Bobby” Alfons, originally from Indonesia. In the 1950s, Bobby fell in love with Dutch Jenever, customizing it with Oriental herbs and spices to recreate the scents of his homeland. From this union came, in 2012, through a collaboration with Herman Jansen, the last representative of seven generations of master distillers, a gin that blends East and West in a unique balance.

Bobby’s Schiedam gins are handcrafted: each botanical is distilled separately to preserve its aromatic purity. Beyond the classic juniper, lemongrass, cinnamon, rosehip, fennel, and cubeb pepper stand out, offering floral, citrus, and spicy notes. On the nose, exotic and balsamic tones emerge, while the palate alternates sweet and fresh nuances, ending with a long and persistent finish, a hallmark of authentic craftsmanship.
