Brut Impérial is the most iconic Champagne of Moët & Chandon, a symbol of elegance and tradition since 1869. It represents the style of the Maison with a fruity and bright taste, a seductive palate, and sophisticated maturity. Made with a blend of Pinot Noir for structure, Pinot Meunier for softness, and Chardonnay for refinement, it uses 20% to 30% reserve wines to ensure complexity and consistency in the organoleptic profile. Intense aromas of green apple and citrus, accompanied by mineral nuances and light notes of brioche and cereals. Generous and vibrant on the palate, with the delicacy of white fruits like pear and peach, a creamy mousse, and a finish of citrus freshness and gooseberry. Ideal for pairing with seafood dishes, sushi, and refined appetizers.

THE MAISON

It all began in 1743, when Claude Moët founded a Maison in his own name after a long experience first as a vigneron and then as a cellar master. He started distributing his wines in Paris outside the Champagne region during a time that coincided with the growing demand for sparkling wine: the success was immediate, so much so that soon Moët Champagne became the most appreciated at the court of the King of France, and by the end of the 18th century, it was exported throughout Europe and to the United States of America. Growth continued with his grandson Jean Remy, who acquired new lands, expanded the cellars, and built a true commercial network that reached famous clients such as Thomas Jefferson and Napoleon Bonaparte. Later, Remy would pass the leadership of Moët to his son Victor and son-in-law Pierre Gabriel Chandon, from whom the current name of the Maison, Moët & Chandon Champagne, is derived.
