Burgundy: Côte de Beaune
The Côte de Beaune, the southern part of the Côte d’Or, is one of the most renowned wine-producing areas in Burgundy. It stretches from Ladoix-Serrigny to Dezize-lès-Maranges and encompasses an extraordinary variety of terroirs that have been producing excellent wines for centuries. There are 16 communal appellations here, alongside the sub-regional appellation Côte de Beaune-Villages, which brings together 14 villages for the production of Pinot Noir.
The Côte de Beaune is famous for its 8 Grand cru, including Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Corton, and Corton-Charlemagne, which are true symbols of the greatness of Chardonnay. Alongside the whites, Pinot Noir finds refined and intense expressions here, particularly in appellations like Pommard, Volnay, Beaune, and Santenay.
Every bottle from the Côte de Beaune is a reflection of a unique terroir, capable of combining freshness, depth, and longevity. On Vino45, you can discover a curated selection of labels that best represent the authenticity and excellence of this Burgundian region.
