Traminer

Traminer aromatico vine is a pink grape variety originating from Alto Adige, in particular from the Termeno area on the Strada del Vino (Tramin in German), about 20 km south of Bolzano. However, it is also present in numerous other Italian regions. The German name Gewürztraminer is granted only for the DOC Alto Adige. As the name suggests, Traminer is an aromatic vine, that is, it presents in the wine the same aromas (called primary) present in the berries of ripe grapes.
