The 'Duke Enrico' of Duca di Salaparuta, first produced in 1984, is one of the symbolic wines of Italian and international winemaking. The first pure Nero d’Avola in the history of Sicilian wines, this noble red, which comes exclusively from a few selected vineyards, is a wine with an aristocratic charm and an unmistakable style. Aging for 18 months in barrique allows the wine to evolve and enrich itself with refined tertiary notes, making the bouquet particularly complex, deep, and persistent, with floral notes, aromas of cherry and dark small fruits, and spicy hints.
