The Bolgheri Bianco 'Strabilio' from Campo alle Comete represents a true challenge, but it has given the satisfaction of being able to recognize the great expressiveness of the Bolgheri territory in the glass. Made from Sauvignon Blanc and Vermentino grapes, with a brief aging in wood, Strabilio is a wine that sees balance as its strong point, featuring a delicate bouquet of white peach, loquat, and citrus notes, with elegant green nuances of aromatic herbs and Mediterranean scrub. A rich and creamy tasting experience, with a fresh acidic component that makes each sip vibrant and very pleasant. Excellent with seafood pasta dishes, baked fish, but also fresh cheeses or light summer dishes.

Campo alle Comete

In the heart of Tuscany, amidst the enchanted landscapes of Bolgheri, lies the winery Campo alle Comete. Here, the magic of the territory intertwines with the savoir-faire of a group that has made excellence its hallmark: the Feudi di San Gregorio. Campo alle Comete is not just a place of wine production, but a true narrative universe, where each label tells a story, and every sip evokes an emotion.
In this sun-kissed land caressed by the sea breeze, the vineyards stretch across gentle hills, cultivated with passion and respect for nature. The Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Vermentino grapes find an ideal habitat here, giving life to wines that strongly express the character of the territory. The DOC Bolgheri designation is synonymous with quality and prestige, and the wines of Campo alle Comete perfectly embody its essence.
Among the flagship labels, "Stupore" stands out, a red that enchants with its enveloping structure and complex aromas, a true sensory journey that unfolds with every sip. No less fascinating is the "Vermentino", a white that surprises with its freshness and fruity notes, a hymn to the beauty of the Tuscan coast.

THE WINE
The Bolgheri Bianco 'Strabilio' by Campo alle Comete represents a true challenge, which has given the satisfaction of being able to recognize in the glass the great expressiveness of the Bolgheri territory. Made from Sauvignon Blanc and Vermentino grapes, with a brief aging in wood, Strabilio is a wine that sees balance as its strong point, with a delicate bouquet of white peach, loquat, and citrus notes, along with elegant green hints of aromatic herbs and Mediterranean scrub. Rich and creamy tasting, with a fresh acidic component that makes each sip vibrant and very pleasant. Excellent with seafood pasta dishes, baked fish, but also fresh cheeses or light summer dishes.
THE COMPANY
A world suspended between sky and earth, where one can let go, guided by bright stars, to stroll in a wonderful reality, as if made from the stuff of dreams. Ancient scents, childlike images, and a fanciful reality: even the name evokes everything, calling to mind a dimension where flavors and aromas merge with the emotion of the vineyards. It is the company “Campo alle Comete”, located in the heart of the municipality of Castagneto Carducci, with its sixteen hectares of vineyards, representing one of the most interesting and fascinating wine-producing realities in the entire Bolgheri area. Everything began based on a well-defined project, where tradition and experience combined with poetry and imagination, leading to surprises with wines like none other. A Tuscan stronghold of the wine group “Feudi di San Gregorio”, the winery “Campo alle Comete” was born from the meeting between a consolidated reality in the sector - namely that of “Feudi di San Gregorio” - and one of the most prestigious territories of the Peninsula: that of Bolgheri. In the vineyard, the rows stretch beautifully across the Livorno Maremma, and the plants are caressed by the enveloping breezes blowing from the Tyrrhenian Sea towards the inland. Organized to form a sort of amphitheater, the plots enjoy a temperate climate particularly favorable to viticulture, and the vines, with an average density of 7,000 plants per hectare, grow in balanced and rich soils, cultivated with full respect for the environment, nature, and ecosystem. Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot grapes, as well as Syrah and Vermentino, are processed in the winery, interpreting and enhancing what the season and the territory have been able to express in the fruit. Lastly, aging in oak barriques and tonneaux completes the journey leading to “Stupore” primarily, the label that perhaps more than others tells us all about the unparalleled magic of “Campo alle Comete”.
