Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 'Westport' 21 Years 1999 (700 ml. boxed) The Whisky Cellar

The Whiskey Cellar Blended Malt Scotch Whiskey 'Westport' 1999 21 Years is part of the highly selected and exclusive 'Private Cellars Selection' line. This light and very captivating whiskey comes from the Westport distillery in the Highlands. Aged for 21 years in an American Oak Hogshead, it was distilled in March 1999 and bottled in August 2020. It is a 'tea-spooned' whiskey: a teaspoon from a specific distillery has been added to a barrel with another distillery, resulting in blended whiskey, which is 99% Highland Single Malt. Hints of heather honey, lemon blossom and ripe yellow plums. On the palate it is deliciously light and delicately sweet, the finish is soft and persistent. Only 164 bottles were produced.

Immersed in the mystical charm of the Scottish lands, The Whisky Cellar stands as a true temple of whisky, a place where ancient tradition meets a timeless passion for the selection and bottling of unique spirits. This cellar, although young, is already a point of reference for whisky connoisseurs who seek the authenticity and character of limited and highly curated editions. Each bottle tells a story of careful selection and a love for detail that manifests itself in every sip.

Scotland, the undisputed home of whisky, offers fertile ground for the cultivation of special grapes such as single malts, which, through the savoir-faire of The Whisky Cellar, are transformed into authentic liquid masterpieces. Here, the production philosophy does not limit itself to following the footsteps of the past, but innovates and experiments, always seeking the perfect balance between tradition and creativity. Each selection is the result of careful research among the best barrels, where wood and time dance together to give the distillate an unparalleled aromatic complexity.

The Limited Cask Editions represent the pinnacle of this research, offering the most demanding palates sensory experiences that range from velvety softness to robust power, always with an eye to the finesse and persistence of flavors. These whiskies are not just drinks, but stories in a bottle, ready to reveal their unique character to anyone who knows how to appreciate their depth.
