Trento Riserva DOC Brut "Perlé Nero" 2016 Ferrari is the first and only Blanc de Noirs from Casa Ferrari, born from pure Pinot Noir and the result of over forty years of research. The grapes come from the best owned vineyards, cultivated at the foothills of Trentino, and are harvested manually to ensure the highest quality. Vinified according to the Classic Method, it ages for over 6 years on the lees, giving it a rarely fine perlage and a spectacular bouquet: from tropical fruit notes to mineral, even toasted, with original hints of peanut butter. The taste is sumptuous, with citrus freshness, sharp salinity, and a sip that is full, smooth, and almond-like, fading into a majestic and persistent finish. Extraordinarily different and proudly unique, it is perfect with fine haute cuisine, refined white meats, or aged cheeses.

THE COMPANY

A winery that needs no introduction, its myth was born thanks to the intuition of a man, Giulio Ferrari, and the dream of creating a wine in Trentino that could compete with the best French Champagnes. A true pioneer, he was the first to recognize the extraordinary vocation of his land, the one who first spread Chardonnay in Italy. This is how he began producing a few select bottles with an obsessive cult for quality. Wines that immediately captured the hearts of the most demanding enthusiasts who had never found such elegant, fine, and surprising sparkling wines in Italy. However, not having children, Giulio Ferrari sought a successor to entrust his dream. Among the many candidates, he chose Bruno Lunelli, owner of a famous wine shop in Trento. Thanks to his passion and entrepreneurial talent, Bruno quickly managed, in the early 1950s, to increase production without ever compromising on quality, following the same path set by the founder. The tradition continues, and Bruno Lunelli passes on the passion to his children: under the guidance of Franco, Gino, and Mauro, Ferrari becomes a leader in Italy and the quintessential Italian toast. In these years, some labels destined to enter history see the light: they are Ferrari Rosé, Ferrari Perlé, and Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore. Today, over a hundred years later, Ferrari is synonymous with the best Italian sparkling wines. Unique wines, true hymns to the greatness of an unmatched winery and a territory, that of Trento, which has proven capable of offering some of the best bubbles in the world.
