The Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Millésime from Delamotte is a concert of flavors and aromas: pure Chardonnay from various vineyards, each contributing its own uniqueness: from Mesnil-sur-Oger (20%), acidity, purity, and chalky minerality, from Avize (20%), balance and structure, from Oger (20%), warmth, breadth, and generosity, from Cramant, smoky minerality, from Chouilly, framework and length, and finally from Oyry, acidity and softness. Six years on the lees to achieve a wine of great power, concentration, and lightness. Supreme elegance, a wine to be aged.

Delamotte

In the renowned Champagne region, where vines intertwine with history and tradition, the Maison Delamotte stands tall. This historic winery, often considered the "younger sister" of the famous Salon, is a beacon of elegance and refinement in the French wine landscape. Founded on an extraordinary terroir, Delamotte has distinguished itself by producing Champagnes that embody purity and grace, a reflection of a savoir-faire passed down through generations.
The house Delamotte is located in the vibrant heart of the Champagne region and is passionately dedicated to cultivating the noble grapes that give rise to its exceptional wines. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier find an ideal home here, thanks to a unique climate and chalky soils that impart an unmistakable structure and a complex aromatic bouquet to the wines. Each bottle of Delamotte tells a story, a sensory journey that traverses the golden light of the wine and gets lost in floral and citrus aromas.
Among the standout labels of the Maison, the Blanc de Blancs is a true enological gem. Produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, this Champagne expresses all the freshness and minerality of the terroir, with notes of white flowers and a persistence that enchants the palate. Each sip is a promise of elegance and a celebration of the artisanal tradition that Delamotte proudly preserves.

THE MAISON

A great Champagne is first and foremost a great wine. With this premise, the Maison Delamotte presents itself, a "sister" of Salon and also located in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs. Founded in Reims in 1760 by François Delamotte, it is the fifth oldest Champagne house. Only at the end of the 18th century did Alexandre Delamotte purchase a villa in the village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, under which he built the cellars: the idea was to be close to the suppliers of the most precious grapes, those of Chardonnay. The Maison thrives while remaining of modest size (currently producing around 700,000 bottles), experiencing two significant quality leaps in 1975 and 1988. The first date coincides with the arrival of Bordeaux winemaker Alain Terrier, who works to reconceptualize the maison's style, imparting his philosophy that sees champagne primarily as a “wine of pleasure.” Thus, wooden vinification is abandoned in favor of steel, convinced that the wine should not be influenced by any foreign aroma and should express the terroir and variety with maximum purity and intensity. It is in 1988 that Delamotte joins Salon. In 1997, the skilled Didier Depond takes over the management of the two "sister" companies, marking the final piece in the growth journey of the two Maisons. "Vive et me Ama": live and love me, the motto of Delamotte, proudly conveys the idea of blending modernity and tradition, a complexity at the service of pleasure.
