Duncan Taylor is located in Huntly, a small town in the northeast of Scotland rich in heritage and history. Battlehill has historical significance in the battle for the throne between Robert The Bruce and John Comyn, Earl of Buchan, one of the most powerful nobles in Scotland. The battle took place in December 1307 on a hill at Slioch in Huntly, now known as Battlehill. Battlehill is one of many historical monuments located in and around Huntly that has a particular significance in the history of Scotland. The Battlehill Scotch Whisky range consists of the finest single malt and single grain whiskies aged up to 55 years, distilled in some of the most prestigious distilleries in Scotland.
Duncan Taylor was born with the noble intent of selecting and bottling the best spirits in the world. Without compromising on quality, this company has pursued its project since its foundation in 1938, collecting whisky casks dating back to 1864. The founder, Abe Rosenberg, was indeed an American passionate and experienced in the trade of Scotch whisky who moved to Glasgow and founded Duncan Taylor & Co.
