Tottori

In the enchanted landscape of Japan, where mountains merge with the sea and tradition meets innovation, stands the distillery that brings Tottori to life. Born from the art and passion of the same house that produces the renowned Kurayoshi, this distillery aims to carry on an ancient tradition in a modern and accessible way. Although we are not talking about wine, Tottori tells us a story of artisanal wisdom applied to the world of whisky, with a particular focus on malted barley, the raw material that defines its distinctive character.
Tottori enters the international scene as a blended whisky designed to capture the attention of young enthusiasts, attracted by a smooth and drinkable soul. Each sip offers a sensory journey that combines the purity of Japanese waters, the quality of raw materials, and the skill of master distillers. The result is a perfect balance between tradition and modernity, capable of bringing even less experienced palates closer to the complex and fascinating world of whisky.
Discover on Vino45 the Tottori Blended Whisky and let yourself be captivated by a product that, while not being a wine, represents an excellence in the landscape of Japanese spirits. A tasting experience that invites you to explore new horizons of taste and refinement.

THE WHISKY
The Blended Whisky 'The Tottori' is a Japanese Whisky produced by the Matsui Distillery. It expresses the expertise and consistency of over 100 years of Matsui Distillery in the art of aging and blending spirits. Aged for 3 years in toasted oak barrels. For a more authentic, pure, and unique taste, it has not been cold filtered.
THE DISTILLERY
The Matsui Distillery is located on the coast of the Prefecture of Tottori – in the southern area of Honshu Island – well known for its sandy dunes. The whiskies produced by Matsui are distilled with pure spring water from the Daisen Mountains. The production of Matsui is small and artisanal, and the available stocks of Kurayoshi Whisky are very limited. This makes this collection particularly sought after and valuable.
