THE COMPANY

Our story is written in the land to which, for eight generations, we have reserved the attention and love that is given to a family member. Our grandparents taught us to respect it with our eyes always looking to the future, and this vision still allows us to have lush vineyards and to cultivate rich and fertile lands. Over the years, at the historic estate of Regaleali, through a precise project to enhance indigenous varieties and areas with greater wine-growing vocation, Capofaro in Salina in the Aeolian archipelago, Tascante on Etna, Whitaker in Mozia in the province of Trapani, and Sallier de La Tour in the Monreale DOC have been added, each with its own story to write, each with a different Sicily to tell. Our greatest challenge now is to preserve these places to leave our children a better environment, with constant attention to the safeguarding of each single ecosystem.
THE PHILOSOPHY
We respect the land and its rhythms
We cultivate vineyards in five different estates in Sicily – Regaleali, Capofaro, Tascante, Whitaker, and Sallier de La Tour – each with its own characteristics. Different soils and climates that traverse the entire Island and give rise to a long harvest season that begins in mid-August and is completed between the end of October and the beginning of November. For generations, men and women have worked alongside us, helping us keep up with the seasons. We tell the story of Sicily and its products also through a cooking school where the raw materials dictate the calendar. Alongside the vineyards, olive trees, wheat, almond trees, gardens, pastures, and orchards grow in our fields, each with its own time, because in our world nature is not in a hurry.
