THE COMPANY

Aubry is a winery located almost at the tip of the Montagne de Reims, to Jouy-lès-Reims with exactitude, a small town southwest of the city of Reims itself. The territory of the municipality is classified Premier Cru, and it is precisely here that the Aubry have been owners winemakers for many generations, since 1790 with precision.
Today it is Pierre and Philippe who manage the approximately fifteen hectares of vineyards, divided into more than sixty separate parcels. The two brothers, from the mid-80s, have embarked on a singular path, focusing attention on the development of Champagne that could represent the perfect combination of tradition and avant-garde. Over time, Pierre and Philippe have succeeded in obtaining unique and original cuvées, always paying the utmost attention to quality. Cuvée that represent the purest expression of the lands to which they belong and of the area from which they arrive, and which deserve a separate chapter compared to the most classic Champagne, since they deviate from the standardized taste that sometimes - and sometimes too often - accumulate the Champagne.
The recipe for all this combines simple ingredients, and above all is based on a company philosophy distant from those of the great Maison, and aimed at recovering all those that are the oldest native vines of the area. Here, therefore, that Pierre and Philippe, united in the aim of reviving the vine varieties of arbanne, petit meslier, fromenteau and enfumé - that go to join the most popular chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier - come to create unique, distinctive Champagne from an unmistakable style, and distinguished by that thread that, just as it is in the intent of the Aubry brothers, brings us back to the glorious wines of the late eighteenth century. From the Brut base to the Brut "Aubry de Humbert", from the Brut "The Nombre d'Or Campaniae Veteres Vites" to the Blanc de Blancs, to close with the "Sablé Rosé": those labeled Aubry are exciting and emotional Champagne.
