Created in honour of the butteri, who remain the symbol of the Maremma region. Ornello (from the name of the wood – manna ash) is a long pointed stick that is still used today for driving cattle. It stands out for its substantial percentage of Syrah grapes that make it very full and rich, nonetheless retaining the typical elegance and freshness of Rocca di Frassinello wines.

'Limited Edition' by Poggio L’Apparita is a Maremma Toscana Rosso blend of Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Produced in the 2017 vintage when a spring frost burnt much of the Sangiovese grape production: instead of the classic San Michele, this cuvée was developed which has become a "Limited Edition" of only 288 individually numbered Magnum bottles. Much appreciated by the professionals of the various sector guides, we launch it on the occasion of the Christmas holidays as a gift of great class and quality. It is proposed with case and technical data sheet.
