The Enrico Serafino winery was founded in 1878 in Canale d'Alba, in the heart of the Roero. Founded by Enrico Serafino, businessman and landowner, the winery soon became one of the most important of Piedmont and among the first to spread the classic Piedmontese wines throughout Italy and abroad. In addition to the classic wines of the area, first of all Roero Arneis and Barbera, the company produces large Barolo and Barbaresco from grapes coming from the neighboring Langhe, noble and elegant wines, where the Nebbiolo grape variety best expresses its characteristics.
The Barbera d'Alba DOC of Enrico Serafino comes from the vineyards of the Langhe and Roero. Deep ruby red color, vinous, intense but delicate, with notes of cherry, currant and spices. dry, full-bodied flavor. Good structure that keeps in time its own characteristics.
