List of products by brand Enrico Serafino

Enrico Serafino winery was founded in 1878 in Canale d'Alba, in the heart of the Roero. Founded by Enrico Serafino, businessman and landowner, the winery soon became one of the most important of Piedmont and among the first to spread the classic Piedmontese wines throughout Italy and abroad. In addition to the classic wines of the area, first of all Roero Arneis and Barbera, the company produces large Barolo and Barbaresco from grapes coming from the neighboring Langhe, noble and elegant wines, where the Nebbiolo grape variety best expresses its characteristics.

Alta Langa Extra Brut 'Parcellaire' Millesimato by Enrico Serafino has the particularity of a parcel vinification since the birth of the Alta Langa docg. It is obtained from the selection of some parcels that best represent the typically 'scratchy' character of the denomination. The dosage, deliberately reduced in sugars, combined with the absence of distillates, eliminates any interference between the wine and its territory of origin. The refinement of 42 months on the lees takes place until the wine is completely ripe. The liqueur d'expédition added after disgorgement is prepared following a secret recipe that includes reserve wines and sugar (4.5 g / L). Complex, vertical with citrus scents, vibrant and elegant, with a rich structure and a long pleasant aftertaste.

Alta Langa Reserve 'Zero' Late Disgorged is the sparkling wine that best represents Enrico Serafino Alta Langa. The complexity of the terroir is fully expressed thanks to the meticulous execution of each passage from the vine to the wine. Produced starting from the 2004 vintage, it is the first Alta Langa Pas Dosé ever produced. The choice of avoiding any dosage combined with late disgorgement allows Zero Riserva Pas Dosé to affirm its evident singularity. Aging on the lees for at least 72 months and late disgorgement, no liqueur d'expédition. Complex, multifaceted, full-bodied, elegant and intense, with a vibrant structure and a very long mineral aftertaste.

Barbera d'Alba Superiore 'San Defendente' by Enrico Serafino is a complex and multi-faceted Barbera that surprises with its inviting richness of aromas and flavors of red fruit. Thanks to the careful management of each phase, from the harvest to the aging in wood, the characteristics of the territory are perfectly integrated in this wine. The aging process in wood lasts 18 months in medium-sized oak barrels (2500-4000 liters) and a small part in barriques. Barbera rich in currant flavors, surprisingly fresh, velvety, full-bodied, with a fine structure, with a pleasant silky acidity softened by aging in oak.

Barolo 'Monclivio' by Enrico Serafino is known for its powerful elegance. Thanks to careful management from the harvest and aging in wood, the characteristics of the territory are perfectly recognizable in the wine. It is the result of the harmonious combination of land, Nebbiolo and tradition. Aging for 22 months takes place in medium-sized oak barrels (2500-4000 liters). Complex, full, harmonious and soft with hints of blackberry, full-bodied with soft tannins and a pleasant finish.

Barolo 'Briccolina' by Enrico Serafino is known for being a cru of great complexity and takes its name from the top of the hill on which it is located. Full-bodied, austere and powerful Barolo, the result of a sustainable production process. The aging process in wood lasts for 28 months in medium-sized oak barrels (2400 liters). Wide, multifaceted, dry, full-bodied, elegant, harmonious, rich in fine tannins and a pleasant and long finish.

Langhe Nebbiolo 'Picotener' by Enrico Serafino is 'the forgotten Nebbiolo' today almost impossible to find. In fact, this ancient sub-variety is characterized by low production and low vegetative vigor and this explains its scarce diffusion. Enrico Serafino proposes it rich in polyphenols, with an intense color and a typically spicy aroma. Aging for 12 months takes place in medium-sized oak barrels (2500-4000 liters). Fine, velvety, fresh, medium to structured Nebbiolo, delicate with intriguing tannins and a long and persistent mineral finish.
