Lagrein Riserva 'Mantsch' by Colterenzio is produced from a native Alto Adige vine, very fragrant and with a marked acidity. From grapes used in purity, grown in old vineyards trained on pergolas and located on Gries/Bolzano, an alluvial-sandy soil with a high percentage of porphyry; perfect exposure to the South. Fermentation on the skins in steel. Cautious pumping over of skins and juice for optimal color extraction. The wine ferments for 1/3 in barriques and 2/3 in 35 hl wooden vats for about 12 months. Another 12 months of maturation in the bottle follow. Bouquet characterized by notes of violet, cinnamon and light hints of vanilla. On the palate it presents a marked acidity and aromas of berries and black cherry. Perfect as an accompaniment to Alto Adige cuisine. Excellent with roast or grilled beef, lamb, game and cheeses.

A name that embodies the strength and passion of a one-of-a-kind cooperative, capable of uniting local winemakers under the aegis of quality and respect for the territory. Here, among the vineyards that climb the slopes of the Alps, wines come to life, telling stories of tradition and innovation.

Among the most celebrated labels, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon stand out, two wines that perfectly embody the spirit of Colterenzio. Pinot Noir stands out for its refined structure and aromatic bouquet that ranges from berries to delicate spicy notes, while Sauvignon surprises with its intense aromas of citrus and white flowers, accompanied by an exceptional freshness on the palate.
