Merlot by Livio Felluga is produced from vines that benefit from soils composed of marl and sandstone of Eocene origin. From pure Merlot grapes, harvested by hand to preserve their integrity. Fermentation in stainless steel containers. Maturation both in steel and in small oak barrels. Bottled, it rests for refinement. Lively and elegant bouquet, with juicy notes of ripe fruit, black cherry and red cherry, enveloping hints of dark spices and rose petals, and a delicate exotic and citrus note. On the palate it is voluptuous, fresh and enveloping. With a refined aftertaste, notes of morello cherry, pomegranate, blood orange, hints of cloves, Sichuan pepper and cedar wood stand out. Tannins of personality, sumptuous and long finish, hints of delicate aromas of toasted cocoa berries. Perfect with red meats, roasts and medium-aged cheeses.
