Ribolla Gialla 'Rebula Artwork' by Kristancic is produced in Slovenia, in the village of Medana on the border of Collio Friulano. It is a dry, young and fresh wine, rich on the palate, harmonious and with the right level of acidity. It has a beautiful antique gold color with copper reflections, a full and oily body. The bouquet is rich, reminiscent of summer scents, balsamic, with a touch of exotic spices, especially vanilla, cinnamon and sweet caramel. In the mouth it is powerful, explosive, warm, very mineral (savoury), in perfect harmony of alcohol and acidity, with a spicy note in a long aftertaste. Here you can notice cooked and dried fruit, vanilla, toasted hazelnuts and other nuts and, above all, facets that bring new experiences with every sip. It pairs well with dishes with intense and decisive flavours, even spicy ones.

The family farm, which initially focused on viticulture, fruit growing and animal husbandry, was taken over by Dušan, who soon revamped it, focusing primarily on viticulture and wine production. Driven by determination and courage, in the 1980s he decided to create his own brand, Kristančič wines, and to add a wine cellar to the property, where great wines and bold ideas have been maturing ever since. One of those ideas united Dušan and five other winemakers from Medana in an association called Brajda (which in the local dialect means “vineyard”). Brajda was not just an association, but a vision to make the Brda area what it is today – a unique place whose economic activity is focused on viticulture and the production of high-quality wines. The idea began to take shape when the wine was bottled for the first time in 1989. The following year the bottles took on the now characteristic image with the peacock symbol and in 1991 the label was awarded the prestigious Cordon D'Excellence prize.
