- Color: bright pale pink Bouquet: ample of jasmine, with delicate fruity notes of wild strawberry, peach and bergamot Taste: pleasant fragrance and minerality, finesse and persistence.
'Rosa' Dolce & Gabbana by Donnafugata is the result of an original blend of two black grape varieties, among the most representative of Sicilian viticulture. Nerello Mascalese and Nocera. Nerello Mascalese grown on volcanic soils, at high altitude, manages to express minerality and a refined floral component. Nocera is an almost forgotten ancient variety with a prestigious past. It was chosen because it reaches an ideal sugar ripeness with a high level of acidity. The result is a fragrant and persistent rosé wine, with a captivating fruity bouquet. Perfect for aperitifs, raw fish, vegetarian dishes and delicate meats. Limited edition gift box and label.
COLLEZIONE DOLCE E GABBANA
Donnafugata was founded in Sicily by an enterprising family with 160 years’ experience in premium wines. Giacomo Rallo and wife Gabriella, daughter José and son Antonio are engaged in an entrepreneurial project with a focus on attention to detail and synchronizing people and nature to make wines that correspond increasingly more to the potential of this area.
The Donnafugata adventure began in the Rallo family’s historic cellars in Marsala in 1983 and at its Contessa Entellina vineyards in the heart of western Sicily. In 1989, Donnafugata arrived on the island of Pantelleria, commencing its production of naturally sweet wines.
