Toscana Vermentino IGT 'Masso Vivo' (750 ml.) 2024 Frescobaldi

The Masso Vivo by Frescobaldi is a pure Vermentino that reflects the brightness and vitality of the Tuscan coast. The grapes come from well-ventilated hillside vineyards, grown on soils rich in stone and marine sand, ideal for enhancing the grape’s natural freshness and minerality. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, preserving the varietal aromas. The wine then rests briefly in steel to highlight its crisp fruit and aromatic clarity. In the glass, it shines a bright straw yellow. The bouquet reveals citrus notes, white flowers, and sage, while the palate is savory, balanced, and vibrant, with a fresh, sea-scented finish. Excellent with seafood starters, raw fish, or light pasta dishes, this wine offers an authentic and modern expression of Tuscan Vermentino.

Frescobaldi

frescobaldi_870x360.jpg

Nestled in the beautiful Tuscan lands, where time seems to have stopped to celebrate the beauty of nature and the art of winemaking, the Frescobaldi winery tells a story that spans generations. It is one of the oldest wine families in Italy, with roots that sink into a past rich in tradition and innovation. With a presence that embraces the most prestigious denominations of Tuscany, such as the DOCG Chianti, Brunello and Bolgheri, Frescobaldi stands out for a modern approach that, however, never forgets to respect the history and terroir that surrounds it.

The Frescobaldi estates are a mosaic of winemaking excellence, where each vineyard is cared for with dedication and love for the land. Here, under the warm Tuscan sun, Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are born, each an expression of a unique territory and an unparalleled savoir-faire. Frescobaldi's production philosophy is a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, where ancient wisdom blends with the most modern winemaking techniques to create wines with a distinctive and unmistakable character.

Among the labels that make up Frescobaldi's prestigious portfolio, Nipozzano and CastelGiocondo stand out, two wines that embody the essence of Tuscany. Nipozzano, with its enveloping structure and intense aromas, is the perfect companion for those who wish to explore the depth of Tuscan wines. CastelGiocondo, on the other hand, is a Brunello di Montalcino with a refined and complex character, capable of recounting, sip after sip, the magic of a legendary territory.

Let yourself be won over by the elegance and mastery of Frescobaldi wines, available on Vino45. An invitation to discover a world where history, innovation and passion for wine intertwine in an unparalleled sensory experience.

Address:

Color: Bright straw yellow, enlivened by greenish reflections that denote youth and freshness. The clarity and lively brightness anticipate good acidity and an exuberant aromatic profile.

Bouquet: Immediate and fragrant, with clear citrus notes of lime and grapefruit that intertwine with floral scents of white flowers and broom. Vegetal nuances of Mediterranean aromatic herbs such as sage and rosemary also emerge, enriched by a mineral, almost salty background, which recalls the proximity to the sea.

Taste: Fresh and smooth, with a marked acidity that supports the drink and amplifies the citrus perception. The structure is lean but balanced, with a savory and pleasantly bitter finish typical of Vermentino, which gives persistence and cleanliness.

Overall Rating: 89/100
