'Ferentano' by Cotarella Family is made with roscetto grapes, a native Lazio vine typical of the territory of Montefiascone and of the hilly areas adjacent to Lake Bolsena. A variety that takes its name from the color of the skin, which changes as it ripens from green to yellow, from yellow to pink. A distant relative of the Greek, it is able to offer a full-bodied wine with a rich range of olfactory and gustatory sensations. Vinified in steel and left to mature in barrique for about 4 months, it is a soft and refined white wine, with great balance and elegance.

Cotarella
In the suggestive crossroads between Lazio and Umbria, where tradition meets innovation, the Cotarella winery comes to life. Born from the creative flair of a family of world-famous winemakers, with Riccardo Cotarella at the helm, this winemaking reality has become a point of reference for those seeking elegant and modern wines, capable of captivating the most demanding palates at an international level.
Immersed in the lush hilly landscapes of these two Italian regions, Cotarella has been able to capture the essence of the territory, producing wines that celebrate the IGP Umbria and Lazio denominations. The varieties of grapes grown, from Grechetto to Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, reflect a wise combination of local tradition and openness to the most appreciated international varieties. These grapes, cared for with passion and respect for the environment, give rise to wines that stand out for their distinctive character and uncompromising quality.
Among the winery's flagship labels, Montiano and Sodale stand out as authentic expressions of the Cotarella signature style. Montiano, with its complexity and aromatic depth, reveals itself as a wine of great charm and structure, while Sodale enchants with its elegance and softness, representing a perfect balance between tradition and modernity.
We invite all enthusiasts to discover the Cotarella labels on Vino45, a sensory journey through the hills of Lazio and Umbria, where every sip tells a story of passion, innovation and respect for the land.
