Brut Nature Vintage 2019 by Ronco Calino tells the unrepeatable personality of the single harvest. Blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, from vines of about 30 years of age grown using organic farming. The separate vinification for each parcel allows us to enhance the uniqueness of its profile. Only the free-run must is extracted. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, a part of the Chardonnay ferments in French oak barriques. It ages for at least 55 months on the lees and a further 6 months after disgorging. It emanates floral scents of dandelion and fruity notes of wild blackberry, mango and fig compote, balsamic notes of laurel and cedar wood. Full and enveloping taste, it suggests references to small pastries, almond ice cream and vanilla pod. The finish, long and savoury, closes with a pleasant hint of marzipan and toasted hazelnut.

Ronco Calino
In a secluded and enchanting corner of Franciacorta, protected by a hill that once inspired the great pianist Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, stands Ronco Calino: an estate that harmoniously embodies nature, art and passion for wine. Here, where the sounds of the countryside blend with the contemplative silence of the vineyards, 10 hectares cultivated according to the principles of organic farming extend, the beating heart of a winery that has made quality its mission.
Founded in 1996 by Paolo Radici, a visionary entrepreneur and profound lover of wine, Ronco Calino is today synonymous with Franciacorta of rare elegance. The winery, nestled at the foot of the historic residence, is a place where time slows down, and every phase of production is marked by obsessive care, respect for nature and artisanal patience.
The main grape variety is Chardonnay, but it is Pinot Noir that finds surprising expression here. With the exception of Satèn, this noble variety is used in all cuvées, giving structure, complexity and depth to Franciacorta Ronco Calino. Each bottle rests on the lees well beyond the minimum times imposed by the Disciplinary, so that the wine can naturally develop its authentic personality.
The sugar dosage is minimal or absent, to enhance the true identity of the terroir and valorize the work done in the vineyard. The result is signature sparkling wines, long-lived, harmonious, capable of telling the story of Franciacorta in a refined and modern way.
