Cotes de Provence Rosé Cru Classé by Chateau Galoupet is a Mediterranean rosé wine of rare complexity, quality and great sensitivity. It is vinified from a blend of grapes from all over the farm, a true terroir wine from vines grown in organic farming. Vinification separated plot by plot and elevation for 4-5 months, except for 30-40% which matures in French oak barrels. Intense powder pink colour, bouquet of irresistible aromas of raspberry, currant, lavender and Mediterranean scrub, supported by iodine mineral notes. Strong and rather complex tasting, creamy and with good structure, with a very savory and persistent finish.

Château Galoupet
In the picturesque region of Provence, where the sun caresses the vineyards and the scent of lavender blends with the sea breeze, lies the renowned Château Galoupet. Nestled in a picture-postcard landscape, this historic estate was recently relaunched under the aegis of the prestigious LVMH group, which has brought a wind of innovation and sustainability to the heart of the Côtes de Provence.
The vines of Château Galoupet, spread across a terroir that embodies all the beauty and complexity of Provence, are cultivated with a profoundly respectful approach to the environment. Here, the Grenache, Mourvèdre and Rolle grapes find their ideal habitat, growing in harmony with the surrounding nature. The result is a Cru Classé Rosé of the highest quality, representing a perfect balance between tradition and modernity.
The rosé of Château Galoupet is a wine that seduces at first glance with its delicate pale pink color, a prelude to an aromatic bouquet that evokes white flowers, berries and a touch of citrus. On the palate, it reveals itself fresh and lively, with an elegant structure and a persistent finish that invites a second sip. Each glass tells the story of a unique terroir and a relentless commitment to excellence.

THE COMPANY
In the Provençal municipality of La Londe-les-Maures, overlooking the Golden Isles of the Côte d'Azur, stands Chateau Galoupet, a wine company with a strong intention of highlighting the wine-growing territory of Provence while protecting the fragile balance of nature. The estate is owned by the famous French group LVMH, which in 2019 entrusted the leadership to Jessica Julmy, orienting the production philosophy towards the theme of sustainability. To this end, Chateau Galoupet is home to one of only 12 queen bee fertilization stations in the world and has converted its vineyards to organic since 2020. The first wines of the new course were presented with the 2021 vintage, following 4 years of soil analysis and vineyard preparation. However, the Chateau tradition is not so recent since already in 1955 Chateau Galoupet was among the 18 Cru Classé de Provence.
The Chateau Galoupet estate includes 69 hectares of vineyards dedicated to the local varieties Grenache Noir, Syrah, Tibouren, Rollo, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Rolle and Sémillon, each grown in a single plot that has characteristics suitable for the specific grape variety. Added to these are 77 hectares of protected wooded areas which are the basis of the exceptional richness of biodiversity in the area. The soils are made up of layers of metamorphic rocks such as quartz, sandstone and gravel, while the climate is typically Mediterranean, sunny and windy. On these pedoclimatic parameters, the vines are grown according to the principles of organic farming and genuine practices such as grassing of the inter-rows and agroforestry are adopted in the field. The maturation of the rosés, the heart of the Chateau's production, takes place in steel tanks and oak demi-muids. Chateau Galoupet is the creator of rich and complex, savory and Mediterranean rosés, at the qualitative pinnacle of the typology. Furthermore, the wines are packaged in a lightweight bottle made of 70% recycled glass, thus also minimizing the environmental impact of the packaging.
