'Duca Enrico' by Duca di Salaparuta, produced for the first time in 1984, is one of the symbolic wines of Italian and international enology. The first 100% Nero d'Avola in the history of Sicilian wines, this noble red, which comes only from a few carefully selected vineyards, is a wine with an aristocratic charm and an unmistakable style. Aging for 18 months in barrique allows the wine to evolve and be enriched with refined tertiary notes, which make the bouquet particularly complex, deep and persistent, with floral notes, aromas of cherry and small dark fruit, spicy hints. On the palate it is enveloping and deep, with soft tannins, a harmonious and very persistent finish. It is a prestigious label, to be tasted during a special evening.

Duca di Salaparuta
Nestled among the bright lands of Sicily, the Duca di Salaparuta winery represents one of the pillars of Italian viticulture, a history that has its roots in the distant 1824. Born from the desire to explore the potential of a territory rich in traditions and natural beauty, Duca di Salaparuta has masterfully combined the legacy of the past with contemporary innovation over time.
Sicily, with its Mediterranean climate and varied soils, offers an ideal stage for the cultivation of native grapes such as Nero d'Avola and Grillo. These varieties, deeply rooted in the territory, are the lifeblood of the wines signed Duca di Salaparuta, which stand out for their authenticity and character. The scent of the vines mixes with the salty wind of the sea, creating a unique terroir that is sublimated in the bottles produced by the winery.
Among the symbolic labels, the Corvo Rosso stands as an emblem of tradition and winemaking mastery. This rich and enveloping wine best expresses the Sicilian soul, with its intense aromas and a structure that enchants the senses. Every sip turns into a journey through time and space, telling stories of ancient vineyards and a land that never ceases to amaze.
Let yourself be seduced by the timeless charm of Duca di Salaparuta wines, available on Vino45. Discover a collection that celebrates Sicily in all its authenticity and beauty, giving emotions that only a great winemaking tradition can offer.
