Travaglini
Nestled among the green hills of Alto Piemonte, the Travaglini winery stands as a bastion of Piedmontese winemaking tradition. Its history is a tale of passion and dedication, passed down through the generations, which has been able to enhance one of the noblest and most difficult vines: Nebbiolo. This winery is known not only for the quality of its wines, but also for its characteristic curved bottle, a distinctive symbol that makes each of its creations immediately recognizable.
Travaglini dedicates itself with care to the production of Gattinara, one of the most renowned DOCG denominations of northern Piedmont. Here, Nebbiolo finds its maximum expression, thanks to a unique terroir that gives the wines an elegant, fresh and extraordinarily long-lived character. Travaglini's production philosophy is rooted in respect for traditions, with an eye always attentive to quality and authenticity. Each bottle tells a story of territory, culture and profound winemaking knowledge.
Gattinara Riserva is the flagship of the winery, a wine that embodies the quintessence of Nebbiolo dell'Alto Piemonte. Its complex aromas and its fresh and mineral notes make it an ideal companion for those who wish to explore the most delicate and fascinating nuances of this variety. The elegance and aging capacity of Gattinara Riserva make it a collectible wine, capable of evolving with grace and of giving emotions even after years.
We invite wine lovers to discover the extraordinary labels signed Travaglini on Vino45. A journey into the heart of Alto Piemonte, where tradition and innovation meet to give life to wines of rare beauty and complexity.
Address:
Via delle Vigne, 36 - 13045 Gattinara (VC), Italy
Color: ancient garnet with orange and shiny reflections that seduces the eye with its delicate transparency.
Bouquet: great complexity and concentration dominated by liquorice spices and juniper berries with a balsamic touch of sandalwood and abundant toasting. Followed by a fruity profile reminiscent of fruit in alcohol, strawberry and blackberry jams, finishing with hints of withering flowers.
Taste: extreme gustatory elegance on the vigorous palate and with a dominant tannin that will assume its maximum evolution as the years pass. A sip in which the flavor and tantalizing freshness stand out with a long and tasty persistence in continuous evolution.

THE COMPANY
Located in the heart of Gattinara, Travaglini was established in the 1920s by Clemente Travaglini.
In 1958 Arturo Travaglini followed in his father’s footsteps and took over the helm at the winery.
The family’s passion and commitment to winemaking has not diminished through the generations; Cinzia Travaglini, great-
granddaughter of Clemente, manages day-to-day operations at winery. Her husband Massimo Collauto is the chief winemaker, a role he inherited from his late father-
in-law and beloved mentor, Giancarlo Travaglini.
Throughout the years, Travaglini has established itself in Gattinara as the most esteemed producer of traditional, limited-production wines from the Nebbiolo grape.
Travaglini wines illustrate the full range of expressions Nebbiolo can achieve.
“Gattinara DOCG” has great structure and longevity, while “Nebbiolo DOC Coste delle Sesia” is young, fruity and easy to drink.
