'Ponte dei Santi' by Villa Raiano is a pure Greco di Tufo that comes from the upper part of the Ponte dei Santi hamlet in the municipality of Altavilla Irpina in the province of Avellino, from a 1.3 hectare vineyard at 550 meters above sea level. It is a full and enveloping white wine with a rich, elegant and slightly evolved style. The vinification takes place entirely in steel vats and then refines on the fine lees for 12 months in the same vinification vats and 12 months in the bottle. Intense and very persistent bouquet. Aromas of flint, white mulberry, broom, acacia flowers inlaid with elegantly earthy notes. On the palate it is rich, energetic and full. The classic stinging acidity of the Greco is perfectly balanced by the soft and cliché parts with a long finish of clear flavor. Ideal with second courses of fish with important condiments.
