Collio Sauvignon Blanc 'Cicinis' by Attems is made from the Sauvignon blanc vineyard of the same name in the heart of the Collio, from vines that can even reach seventy years of age. Thanks to the skilful care of those who have known this territory for centuries, Cicinis has become the company's symbolic wine. It has an intense aroma and a perfect blend. Broom flower, lime peel and sage give movement to a bouquet with strong mineral sensations. On the palate the acidity is impressive and gives great depth to the wine. The persistent finish is intriguing where hints of vanilla, ginger and pink grapefruit emerge.

Attems
Nestled among the lush hills of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the Attems winery represents a precious oenological jewel, an integral part of the prestigious Frescobaldi family. This land, kissed by the cool winds of the north and the sun that caresses the vineyards, is blessed with a unique climate that enhances the soul of the grapes grown, making the Collio and Isonzo ideal territories for the production of white wines of extraordinary elegance.
Attems has managed to make its traditional approach a strong point, remaining faithful to the roots of the Friuli territory while embracing innovation. Its vineyards, cared for with dedication, are home to grape varieties that best express the identity of this region: Pinot Grigio, with its freshness and versatility, and Sauvignon, known for its intense aromas and strong character.
Among the top labels, Cicinis stands out as a symbol of refinement and complexity, a wine that tells the story of sun-kissed hills and expert hands that transform grapes into pure liquid poetry. Attems Pinot Grigio, on the other hand, offers a sensory experience that captures the palate with floral and fruity notes, reflecting the brightness of the Friulian territory in every sip.

THE COMPANY
Attems: a name that evokes the history of wine in Friuli Venezia Giulia. In fact, the first document attesting the possession of lands suited to viticulture in Collio by the Attems dynasty dates back to 1106 and the production of Ribolla Gialla and Refosco is recorded in the ledgers of 1764. A millenary tradition that has made this company the point of reference in the territory and which saw Count Douglas Attems as the protagonist: he deserves the credit for having founded, in 1964, the Consorzio dei Vini del Collio, third in order of time in Italy and first in Friuli.
The story of Attems is thus intertwined with history: from the Patriarchate of Aquileia to the County of Gorizia, from the First World War to the present day. Owned by the Frescobaldi family since 2000, Attems has a fascinating past, an established present and a future of innovation.
Since 2000 Attems has been owned by the Frescobaldi family who continue to guide it in compliance with its particular characteristics.
