Matsui Single Malt The Matsui 'The Peated' by Matsui Whisky is a peaty Japanese whiskey aged in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels before being bottled at 48% without the addition of dyes. The water used for the dilution comes from the sources of Mount Daisen. The limited edition package is inspired by the work of the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai and his most famous work, "The Great Wave of Kanagawa", painted between 1830 and 1831 with ukiyo-e woodblock technique. Bouquet of barley malt, earthy peat and aromatic herbs with hints of cocoa and vanilla. Taste: peat smoke envelops the notes of apple, ginger, vanilla and brown sugar. Medium persistence finish, the smoke continues to accompany us followed by notes of grilled pineapple, apple, vanilla and oak.

Matsui Whisky
In an enchanted corner of Japan, where the mountains embrace the sky and the crystalline waters flow like ancient melodies, stands the Matsui distillery. Here, among breathtakingly beautiful landscapes, the tradition of the art of distilling comes to life in a perfect union between nature and human mastery. Matsui is more than just a distillery: it is a sanctuary of flavor, where barley and pure mountain water are transformed into poetic and refined elixirs.
Although the world of Japanese whisky is young compared to the Scottish one, Matsui is rapidly establishing itself as an excellence on the international scene. The distillery has in fact been able to combine the tradition of Japanese craftsmanship with an innovative approach, creating whiskies of rare finesse and balance. Its secret lies in the purity of the raw materials and the meticulous dedication with which each drop is distilled and refined.
One of the emblems of this dedication is The Kurayoshi Pure Malt, a symphony of aromas and flavors that evoke the landscape from which it comes. Each sip is a sensory journey that passes through nuances of dried fruit, vanilla and spices, with a soft and persistent finish that invites reflection and contemplation. This whisky represents the perfect balance between tradition and innovation, a liquid work of art that speaks of the land and the Japanese soul.
Let yourself be conquered by the magic of Matsui Whisky and discover its creations on Vino45. An invitation to explore the charm and elegance of Japan through the enchanted lens of distillation, where each bottle is a story to be savored.
