Leonia Brut 2020 is a vintage Metodo Classico sparkling wine that pays tribute to the sparkling tradition of the Frescobaldi family in Pomino, one of Tuscany’s most suitable areas thanks to its high altitude and cool climate. Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grown at over 700 meters above sea level, it undergoes 36 months of aging on the lees, developing remarkable finesse and complexity. It shows a bright straw yellow color with an extremely fine perlage. The nose reveals notes of bread crust, white flowers, citrus, and toasted almond. On the palate, it is vibrant, creamy, and elegant, with a long, mineral-driven finish. A sparkling wine of great character, ideal for refined toasts or paired with delicate fish dishes and vegetarian cuisine.

Frescobaldi
Nestled in the beautiful Tuscan lands, where time seems to have stopped to celebrate the beauty of nature and the art of winemaking, the Frescobaldi winery tells a story that spans generations. It is one of the oldest wine families in Italy, with roots that sink into a past rich in tradition and innovation. With a presence that embraces the most prestigious denominations of Tuscany, such as the DOCG Chianti, Brunello and Bolgheri, Frescobaldi stands out for a modern approach that, however, never forgets to respect the history and terroir that surrounds it.
The Frescobaldi estates are a mosaic of winemaking excellence, where each vineyard is cared for with dedication and love for the land. Here, under the warm Tuscan sun, Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are born, each an expression of a unique territory and an unparalleled savoir-faire. Frescobaldi's production philosophy is a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, where ancient wisdom blends with the most modern winemaking techniques to create wines with a distinctive and unmistakable character.
Among the labels that make up Frescobaldi's prestigious portfolio, Nipozzano and CastelGiocondo stand out, two wines that embody the essence of Tuscany. Nipozzano, with its enveloping structure and intense aromas, is the perfect companion for those who wish to explore the depth of Tuscan wines. CastelGiocondo, on the other hand, is a Brunello di Montalcino with a refined and complex character, capable of recounting, sip after sip, the magic of a legendary territory.
Let yourself be won over by the elegance and mastery of Frescobaldi wines, available on Vino45. An invitation to discover a world where history, innovation and passion for wine intertwine in an unparalleled sensory experience.
