Barbera d’Alba DOC 'Tre Vigne' 2021 (750 ml.) Vietti

Barbera d’Alba 'Tre Vigne' by Vietti is produced from grapes coming from vineyards located in Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba, La Morra, and other towns in the Langhe. The age of the vines varies from 28 to 43 years. The average density per hectare is approximately 4500 vines per hectare with Guyot cultivation. The soil is calcareous-clayey. The alcoholic fermentation lasts about 2 weeks and is carried out in steel. Malolactic fermentation is also carried out in steel. Aging is mixed between barrels, barriques and steel for approximately one year. Aroma of ripe cherries and vanilla. Notes of violet and rounder structure than Barbera d'Asti Tre Vigne. Bright acidity and sweet tannins on the palate with a balanced presence of wood. Good complexity and persistent cherry finish.
