Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso by Livio Felluga is produced from an indigenous Friulian vine of great tradition. Fermentation and maturation with maceration of the skins in steel containers, followed by a passage in small French oak barrels. Articulated, silky and full. Hints of blackberries, black corns and small berries blend with balsamic notes of eucalyptus, peppermint and black graphite. Fresh and juicy, with a long, spicy finish. Elegant, intense, fruity and spicy: the ripe black fruit stands out and a spicy spiciness of black pepper blends with a seductive balsamic profile. Perfect in combination with feathered game, red meats, roasts, medium and long-aged cheeses.
