Dolcetto d’Alba 'Lodoli' by Ca' del Baio is produced in the heart of the Langhe, where the vines planted in 1961 grow on medium-textured calcareous-sandy soil. The Dolcetto grapes from mature vines, vinified in purity, give a very Piedmontese wine, a symbol of simplicity and everyday life. Red wine with an intense and vinous aroma, with delicate fruity notes reminiscent of cherries, wild strawberries and blackberries. The dry, harmonious flavor with good acidity, with a pleasantly almondy aftertaste, adapts easily to the daily table, to Italian pasta dishes, to roast poultry, to fried potatoes; it is perfect for a snack with cheeses and cured meats at any time of the day.
