Langhe Pinot Nero DOC 2022 (750 ml.) G.D. Vajra

The Langhe Pinot Nero by G.D. Vajra is organically grown in the highest plots of Bricco delle Viole, also known as Bricco di Vergne, nestled between Barolo and La Morra. From here, the view stretches from the Alta Langa to the Monviso. Each vineyard is harvested individually, often in multiple passes, to honor the unique character of every vine. The wine is aged for 24 months in stainless steel and oak barrels, with great patience, until it reaches full harmony. This is a true expression of Pinot Noir in this distinctive terroir, with its own unmistakable identity. The bouquet is complex and refined, revealing notes of dark cherries, violets, and delicate herbal nuances. On the palate, it shows elegant structure and noble tannins. A red with depth and finesse, ideal with white meats, mushrooms, truffles, or soft cheeses. It’s a wine of authenticity and style.
